Have you ever pretended that something isn’t happening just to make life that little bit easier? You might be confused at this question and think that you strongly haven’t but how about I discuss some examples. One example is parents who ignore their children when they are misbehaving just because it is easier not telling them off. Another example is procrastinating. When you put off doing something important for another task. Ever start doing your work way too late and try and rationalize it by saying you work well under pressure? Sound familiar right?

What if I told you to start planning your day. Write a list of all the things you need to get done that day and try and complete the list before the day is done. At the start it can be quite challenging facing a big list but eventually you will get the hang of it.

Don’t spend all day dwelling on the things you have to do though, make sure you have time to unwind. For example I work to 14 hours a day some days but I make sure that I am always enjoying myself even through the boring tasks and I always find the time to read books which is a fond hobby of mine.

I sometimes find that doing the harder tasks first makes the day a lot easier because you have room for the easier ones later when you are more tired.

What are the benefits?

-You’ll be more productive

-You’ll be less stressed

-Therefore you’ll be happier
